Mr.
Rudd is a partner in Newmarket Partners, LLC. He specializes in
financial advisory services, including financial restructuring,
investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy. His
professional focus is on identifying, developing, and implementing
creative financial solutions for clients in financial distress. Mr.
Rudd brings a multi-faceted perspective to his clients, having
gained extensive experience as an adviser, lender, intermediary,
CFO, workout lender, and bankruptcy specialist.
Mr. Rudd has experience in a number of industries, including
manufacturing, distribution, and service industries, including Tier
1 and 2 automotive manufacturing, metals, petroleum refining,
housewares and consumer products, hazardous waste, environmental
services, and food processing.
Within the last 12 months, Mr. Rudd has been engaged in
several major financial restructurings for clients, serving as
financial adviser or Chief Restructuring Officer. With a focus on
the implementation of financial solutions, recent engagements
include:
- Chief Restructuring Officer: Comprehensive workout and
advisory services for a major manufacturer and distributor of
home decorative products, financial and operational analysis,
bank and creditor negotiations, refinancing services.
- Advisor to the Bank Group: Financial advisory services to a
multi-bank group, including valuation of potential suitors and
evaluation of reorganization proposals.
- Bankruptcy Advisor: Bankruptcy advisory services for a
manufacturer of food products, restructuring advice, bank and
creditor negotiations, merger and acquisition advisory services.
- Court Appointed Receiver: Receivership and liquidation
services for creditors of a major retail consumer distributor.
Prior to joining Newmarket, Mr. Rudd served as an independent
financial adviser; Chief Financial Officer, of Paramount
Petroleum, Inc., a $400 million petroleum refiner, and a
corporate lender and workout officer for ING Group.
