Issue
Antiquated legacy Enterprise Resource Planning system was crippling manufacturing, customer service, and inventory systems. Efforts to improve and automate existing business processes were hampered by the system's inadequate functionality and high maintenance costs. At the same time, the client's internal I/T staff lacked the skills and resources to facilitate the package selection process and manage a company-wide implementation.

Newmarket brought extensive ERP experience to its role as facilitator and project manager to maximize capabilities of new system, guide vendor proposals, and expedite vendor selection. Process included assessment and definition of needs, development of comprehensive specifications and recommended solution.
